The Punchbowl Ale house & Kitchen
Putting The Punch Back into Old Market

Located in the heart of Old Market, Bristol, this historical building is whispered to date back to 1806. Owned by various wine merchants throughout the years, it was 1872 that the pub first opened its doors as the Punch Bowl, Bristol.
The Punch Bowl Ale House and Kitchen is an ale and craft beer venue with the added attraction of an enticing and diverse food offer.
Every effort has been made to retain the character of this Grade II listed building; delivering a relaxed and welcoming intimacy, with our contemporary Wickwar twist. The snug entrance, has been opened up to create a comfortable, yet cozy drinking space, while the back of the bar forms an open plan dining area; leading into our modernised, enchanted beer garden – perfect for those balmy summer evenings.
